Air Seoul
Air Seoul is a South Korean low-cost carrier headquartered in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, and operates as a subsidiary of Asiana Airlines. The airline was established in April 2015 and commenced commercial operations on 11 July 2016, initially focusing on international routes from its main base at Incheon International Airport.
Air Seoul was created to strengthen Asiana
Airlines’ presence in the low-cost aviation market and operates under a
separate brand with its own aircraft, crew, and passenger services. The
airline focuses on short-haul international routes across East and Southeast
Asia, connecting South Korea with destinations in Japan, China, Taiwan,
Vietnam, and other regional markets.
The airline’s network includes major Asian cities such as Tokyo, Osaka,
Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Hong Kong, Taipei, Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Kota Kinabalu.
Route schedules are adjusted according to seasonal demand, aircraft
availability, and market conditions.
As of 2026, Air Seoul operates a fleet consisting of Airbus A321 aircraft
configured for single-class Economy Class operations. The airline uses
narrow-body aircraft designed for regional international flights, offering
high-density seating arrangements suitable for short and medium-distance
travel.
