Ybor City is a historic neighborhood located just northeast of downtown Tampa. It is known as Tampa's Latin Quarter. Portions of the old neighborhood have been designated as a National Historic Landmark District.

Development began in 1885 by a group of cigar manufacturers led by Vicente Martinez-Ybor.

Cigar factories were the major employers during the first half century until a decline during the Great Depression.

Getting There

To get to Ybor City, you can take the TECO Line Streetcar from downtown Tampa, which stops at several locations in Ybor City, including the Ybor City Museum State Park. You can also drive or take a taxi or rideshare service to Ybor City, which is located just off Interstate 4. Additionally, there are several bus routes that serve Ybor City, including HART (Hillsborough Area Regional Transit) and PSTA (Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority).
