Tampa Museum of Art
The Tampa Museum of Art exhibits 20th-century fine art, as well as Greek, Roman, and Etruscan
antiquities.
The museum was founded in 1979 and debuted an award-winning new building in 2010
just north of its original site along Tampa's Riverwalk on the banks of
Hillsborough River.

Getting There
By car: The museum is located at 120 W. Gasparilla Plaza, Tampa, FL 33602. If
you're driving, take I-275 to exit 44 toward Downtown West. Continue on N.
Ashley Drive, then turn right onto E. Cass Street. Finally, turn right onto N.
Ashley Drive, and the museum will be on your left.
By public transportation: You can take the TECO Line Streetcar System to the
museum. The streetcar has a stop right in front of the museum at Whiting Street
and Ashley Drive. You can also take the bus; several HART bus routes have stops
within walking distance of the museum.
By bike or on foot: If you're already in downtown Tampa, you can easily walk or
bike to the museum. The Riverwalk pedestrian path runs right by the museum, and
there are several bike racks in front of the building.
