The monastic Church of the Holy Cross of St. Leo was consecrated on January 29, 1948. Of Lombardic-Romanesque design, the principal material is white limestone brick. The tower rises 86 feet and is 24-feet square.

Getting There

Saint Leo Abbey is located in Saint Leo, Florida. To get there by car, you can take I-75 to Exit 285 and head east on State Road 52 for approximately 6 miles. Turn left onto State Road 575 and continue for about 3 miles, then turn right onto State Road 52. Continue for about half a mile and turn left onto Prospect Road. The abbey will be on your right.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus or Amtrak train to Tampa and then take a taxi or ride-share service to Saint Leo Abbey.
