The park was the first major marine park attraction in South Florida. Its grand opening was in 1955. In addition to the marine mammals, the Miami Seaquarium also houses fish, sharks, sea turtles, birds, reptiles and manatees.

Getting There

Here are the options to get there:

By car: If you are driving from downtown Miami, take the MacArthur Causeway to the entrance of Key Biscayne. Then, follow the Rickenbacker Causeway for about 4 miles until you see the entrance to the Seaquarium on your left.

By bus: You can take the bus #102 from downtown Miami to the Rickenbacker Causeway and then walk to the Seaquarium. However, the frequency of the bus service may vary.

By taxi or rideshare: You can also take a taxi or book a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to get to the Seaquarium.
