Colorado State Capitol
The Colorado State Capitol is the home of the Colorado legislature and the
offices of the Colorado Governor and Lt. Governor. Real gold was incorporated
into the dome to commemorate the Colorado Gold Rush.
The building was designed by Elijah E. Myers and was constructed in the 1890s
from Colorado white granite.
