Jenkins Ferry State Park is located in Grant County, Arkansas. Here at Jenkins Ferry on April 29 and 30, 1864, Union troops fought off an attack by the Confederates and, using an inflatable pontoon bridge, crossed the flooded Saline River and retreated to Little Rock.

Jenkins Ferry State Park in Arkansas preserves the battleground of the Civil War Battle of Jenkins' Ferry.

If you are coming from the north, take I-530 southbound until you reach exit 25 for AR-46. Turn left onto AR-46 eastbound and follow it until you reach US-167. Turn right onto US-167 southbound and follow it until you reach AR-46 again. Turn left onto AR-46 eastbound and follow it until you reach Jenkins Ferry State Park.

If you are coming from the south, take US-167 northbound until you reach Sheridan, Arkansas. Then, take AR-46 eastbound and follow it until you reach Jenkins Ferry State Park.

If you are coming from the west, take I-30 eastbound until you reach Benton, Arkansas. Then, take exit 117 for AR-5 and follow it until you reach AR-46. Turn left onto AR-46 eastbound and follow it until you reach Jenkins Ferry State Park.

If you are coming from the east, take I-40 westbound until you reach Lonoke, Arkansas. Then, take exit 175 for US-70 and follow it until you reach US-167. Turn left onto US-167 southbound and follow it until you reach AR-46. Turn left onto AR-46 eastbound and follow it until you reach Jenkins Ferry State Park.
