Detroit Metropolitan Airport

Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (IATA: DTW, ICAO: KDTW, FAA LID: DTW),
usually called Detroit Metro Airport, Metro Airport, or just DTW, is a major
international airport in the United States covering 4,850 acres (1,960 ha) in
Romulus, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit.
The airport serves as a hub for
Delta Air Lines
and is also served by several other domestic and international airlines,
including American
Airlines,
Southwest Airlines,
United Airlines,
and Lufthansa.
DTW features two terminals: the McNamara Terminal, which is used exclusively by
Delta Air Lines
and its SkyTeam partners, and the
North Terminal, which serves all other airlines. The airport has a variety of
restaurants, shops, and services for travelers, including free Wi-Fi, duty-free
shopping, and several lounges for eligible passengers.
The airport is well-connected to the surrounding area by public transportation,
including the Detroit Metro Airport Station, which provides service to downtown
Detroit via the Detroit People Mover and to Ann Arbor via Amtrak's Wolverine
line. Additionally, several bus and shuttle services operate from the airport to
various destinations in the region.
