AirAsia Check-in Information
Passengers traveling with AirAsia can Check-in conveniently with the check-in options provided as below:
Online Web Check-in
Check in online from AirAsia.com, follow the steps to completed your check-in
and to print your boarding pass yourself. For most flights, self check-in (Web,
App and Kiosk) opens 14 days before departure and closes 1 hour before departure
for AirAsia and 4 hours before departure for AirAsia flights.
If verification of boarding pass is required, please proceed to AirAsia
document check counter. Just head to the boarding gate according to the boarding
time as stated on your boarding pass if you are not required to verify your
travel documents. Keep in mind that that the boarding gate closes 20 minutes
before departure.
AirAsia Mobile App
Check in using the AirAsia Mobile App to receive a barcode which you can use to reprint your boarding pass at the airport.
You’ll receive an e-boarding pass if you’re eligible.
Self Service Check-in Machine (Kiosk)
For easier and smoother boarding, check in your flights at self check-in kiosk
to avoid the queue. You can also print your boarding passes and bag tags at the
kiosks when you check-in using the kiosk in airport.
Services are available at the check-in kiosk around the departures hall.
Airport Counter Check-in
There will be no check-in fee for all international flights.
The amount of time needed to complete all check-in requirements varies depending
on your itinerary. For International flights, The counters at the airport opens
3 hours prior to departure and closes 1 hour prior to departure.
Boarding gate will close 20 minutes prior to scheduled time of departure.
