LIAT Unaccompanied Minors Policy
LIAT provides a service for unaccompanied minors (UMs) to ensure a safe journey for children traveling alone.

Here’s a summary of their policy:
Age Requirements: LIAT's unaccompanied minor service is mandatory for children
aged 5 to 11 traveling without an adult. Children under 5 years are not
permitted to travel alone. For young travelers aged 12 to 17, the service is
optional, allowing parents or guardians to choose if they want the child to
receive additional assistance.
Booking Requirements: Reservations for unaccompanied minors should be made in
advance by contacting LIAT's customer service, as the airline has specific
requirements and may limit the number of UMs per flight. Additional fees apply
for this service, and payment must be arranged at the time of booking.
Travel Process: LIAT staff assist unaccompanied minors throughout the journey,
including check-in, boarding, and arrival. At the destination, the child is
handed over only to the designated adult listed on the UM form, who must provide
valid identification.
