A visa is not required to transit through South Africa providing that they do
not intend to leave the international transit area. Travelers transiting through
the following international airports are exempted from / do not have to be in
possession of transit visas, but will be subjected to biometric capturing
directly at the airport:

O.R Tambo International Airport
2.
Cape Town International Airport
3.
King Shaka International Airport
4.
Lanseria International Airport
Transit visas are issued to foreigners who will pass through South Africa en
route to its neighboring countries. Effective 10 May 2015, applicants for visas
will be required to apply in person at the South African mission. No appointment
is necessary.
