A visa is not required to transit through Bahamas. The traveler must be in possession of a passport valid for 6 months beyond stay and a round-trip or onward ticket.

Bahamas transit visas are required by all except those continuing their journey to a third country within 3 days, provided holding valid documents & tickets for onward destination, except nationals of: Albania, Belarus, Burkina Faso, China not applicable if holding Hong Kong (SAR China) passports, Cuba, Dominican Rep, Ghana, India, Kazakhstan, Korea (North), Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Montengro, Nigeria, Pakistan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan & Vietnam provided they hold documents for the next country and do not leave the airport.

Cruise ship passengers travelling to and returning from the Bahamas are required to obtain visa for entry. Both entry and departure must be by a cruise ship.
