High Cliff State Park

High Cliff State Park is a 1,187-acre Wisconsin state park near Sherwood, Wisconsin. It is the only state-owned recreation area located on Lake Winnebago.

The park got its name from cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment, a land formation east of the shore of Lake Winnebago that stretches north through northeast Wisconsin, Upper Michigan, and Ontario to Niagara Falls and New York State.

The effigy mounds at the top of the escarpment have led to a small part of the park being added to the National Register of Historic Places, listed as High Cliff Mounds.

The park's marina harbor house offers concessions from Memorial Day through Labor Day and some weekends in the spring and fall as staffing allows.

Park visitors may purchase food and beverages, as well as ice and general camping/boating supplies. The marina has crane service and winter storage available. Premium gas is available during open hours. All slips have power and slip rentals include the use of the marina shower building.

The marina is within walking distance to the beach, biking trails, golf course and restaurant.

Vehicle admission sticker is required.
