The National Aviary is America's only independent indoor nonprofit aviary. It is
also America's largest aviary, and the only accorded honorary "National" status
by the United States Congress.

By Bus: The following bus routes serve the National Aviary: 500, 16, 17, and
54C. You can take a bus from Downtown Pittsburgh to the North Shore and then
walk a short distance to the Aviary.
By Light Rail: You can take the T (Pittsburgh's light rail system) to the
Allegheny Station and then walk about 10 minutes to the National Aviary.
By Bike: Pittsburgh has a bike share program called Healthy Ride. You can rent a
