Pearl Harbor

Pearl Harbor is a lagoon harbor on the island of Oahu, west of Honolulu. Much of
the harbor and surrounding lands is a United States Navy deep-water naval base.
It is famous for the December 7, 1941 attack by the Japanese which pushed the
U.S. into WWII.

Getting There
Pearl Harbor is located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, and there are several
ways to get there depending on where you are coming from.
If you are coming from Waikiki or downtown Honolulu, you can take a bus, taxi,
or ride-sharing service such as Uber or Lyft. The bus route numbers 20, 42, and
62 all go to Pearl Harbor.
If you are driving, you can take the H-1 freeway and get off at the Pearl Harbor
exit. There is a parking lot available for visitors.
You can also take a guided tour to Pearl Harbor from various locations on the
island, which usually includes transportation.
Please note that due to security measures at Pearl Harbor, bags, purses, and
other items are not allowed on the premises. There is a storage facility
available for a fee if you need to store your belongings.
