Aloha Tower

Opened on September 11, 1926, the Aloha Tower is a guiding beacon welcoming
vessels to the City of Honolulu. The tower is 10 stories tall (184 feet (56 m))
topped with a 40 feet (12 m) tall flag mast.
During the Second World War, the Aloha Tower was painted in camouflage so as to
disappear at night.

Getting There
Aloha Tower is located at 1 Aloha Tower Drive in Honolulu, Hawaii. It is easily
accessible by car or public transportation.
If you are driving, Aloha Tower is located at the intersection of Nimitz Highway
and Ala Moana Boulevard. Paid parking is available in the Aloha Tower
Marketplace parking garage.
If you are taking public transportation, several bus routes stop near Aloha
Tower. Bus numbers 19, 20, 42, and 62 all have stops within walking distance of
the tower. Additionally, the Honolulu Rail Transit system has a stop at Aloha
Tower, although it is not yet operational as of May 2023.
If you are staying in Waikiki, you can take the Waikiki Trolley's Pink Line to
the Aloha Tower Marketplace, which is a short walk away from the tower.
