University of Phoenix Stadium
The University of Phoenix Stadium is located in Glendale, Arizona, in the
southwestern United States. University of Phoenix Stadium is a multipurpose
stadium, Its primary tenants are the Arizona Cardinals of the NFL and the
Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. It was the location for Superbowl XLII.
The 63,400-seat stadium (expandable to 73,719) opened on August 1, 2006 after
three years of construction.
The stadium has a retractable roof and roll-in natural grass field.
The University of Phoenix, a for-profit university specializing in adult
education, acquired the naming rights in September 2006, shortly after the
stadium had opened under the name Cardinals Stadium. The University of Phoenix
name is applied as a corporate sponsor. The stadium is not the home stadium of
the University.

133A for AZ-101 Loop North. Continue on AZ-101 Loop North until you reach exit 7
for Glendale Avenue. Turn right onto Glendale Avenue and continue until you
reach the stadium.
If you are coming from Tucson, take I-10 westbound until you reach exit 133A for
AZ-101 Loop North. Continue on AZ-101 Loop North until you reach exit 7 for
Glendale Avenue. Turn right onto Glendale Avenue and continue until you reach
the stadium.
If you are coming from Las Vegas, take US-93 southbound until you reach I-40.
Take I-40 eastbound until you reach Kingman, and then take AZ-93 southbound
until you reach Phoenix. From Phoenix, take the I-10 westbound until you reach
exit 133A for AZ-101 Loop North. Continue on AZ-101 Loop North until you reach
exit 7 for Glendale Avenue. Turn right onto Glendale Avenue and continue until
you reach the stadium.
