Kenneth Kaunda International Airport
Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (IATA: LUN, ICAO: FLKK) is an international
airport located in Chongwe District, off the Great East Road, approximately 26
kilometres (16 mi) northeast of the city centre of Lusaka, the capital and
largest city of Zambia. The airport is the largest in Zambia and serves as a hub
for its region. It was officially known as the Lusaka International Airport
before being renamed in 2011 in honour of Kenneth Kaunda, the nation's first
president.
It is the only international airport for air passenger gateway to Zambia. It
handle flights to major cities in Africa and Middle East.
