Morgantown Municipal Airport
Morgantown Municipal Airport (IATA: MGW, ICAO: KMGW, FAA LID: MGW) is a city
owned, public use airport located three nautical miles (4 mi, 6 km) east of the
central business district of Morgantown, a city in Monongalia County, West
Virginia, United States.
The airport is owned and operated by the City of Morgantown and serves as a
general aviation facility. It is located approximately three miles north of the
central business district of Morgantown, a city in northern West Virginia that
is home to West Virginia University.
The airport has one runway, designated 18/36, which is 5,001 feet long and 100
feet wide. There is a small terminal building that offers basic services to
passengers, including a waiting area, restrooms, and vending machines. The
airport also has a fixed-base operator (FBO) that offers a range of services to
general aviation customers, including fueling, maintenance, and aircraft
storage.
