MidAmerica St. Louis Airport (IATA: BLV, ICAO: KBLV, FAA LID: BLV) is a public
use airport co-located on the grounds of Scott Air Force Base. It is located 14
nautical miles (16 mi, 26 km) east of the central business district of
Belleville, in St. Clair County, Illinois, United States.
The airport is operated by the St. Clair County Public Building Commission and
serves the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area. The airport has one terminal
building and a single runway. It primarily serves general aviation and cargo
flights, with limited passenger service.
The passenger service at MidAmerica St. Louis Airport is provided by
Allegiant Air, which
operates flights to a few leisure destinations in the southern United States.
The airport offers free parking and Wi-Fi access to passengers. Other facilities
at the airport include a restaurant and a gift shop.
As for public transportation, there are no direct public transportation options
available from the airport to downtown St. Louis. However, taxis and
ride-sharing services are available for hire outside the terminal building.
