Sacramento International Airport (IATA: SMF, ICAO: KSMF, FAA LID: SMF) is 10 miles (16 km) northwest of downtown Sacramento, in Sacramento County, California. It is run by the Sacramento County Airport System. Southwest Airlines carries about half the airline passengers.

The airport has two terminals - Terminal A and Terminal B - which offer a range of facilities to make the passenger experience as comfortable as possible, including free Wi-Fi, lounges, and a variety of dining and shopping options.

The airport is primarily served by several major airlines, including American Airlines,  Delta Air Lines and Southwest Airlines. Passengers can also use the local Amtrak train service to get to and from the airport. The Amtrak station is located about 10 miles from the airport, and a shuttle service is available to transport passengers to and from the airport.
