[include1/730x20.htm]
Airdrie Aerodrome (TC LID: CEF4) is a registered aerodrome located
2.6 nautical miles (4.8 km; 3.0 mi) southeast of Airdrie, Alberta,
Canada.
The Airdrie Regional Airshow is held here every 2 years. Displays
such as the Snowbirds, Viper West and CF-18 hornet demo team have
been shown in the past. Display dates include July 16 and 17.
Due to the opening of runway 17L/35R at
Calgary International
Airport in 2014, the airshow is being relocated, most likely
to the nearby Calgary / Springbank Airport.
The Aerodrome resides at
an elevation of 3,653 ft (1,113 m) above mean sea level. It has
a runway designated 12/30 with gravel surface measuring 5,000 ft (1,524 m) in length.
