Zvartnots International Airport

Zvartnots International Airport (EVN) is the primary international airport in
Armenia, located about 10 km west of the capital, Yerevan. It is the largest and
busiest airport in the country, handling the majority of Armenia's international
air traffic. Opened in 1961, the airport serves as the main gateway to Armenia,
with modern facilities and a growing network of international destinations.
Facilities at Zvartnots International are extensive and designed to accommodate
a high volume of passengers. The airport features multiple check-in counters,
duty-free shops, restaurants, cafes, and lounges. There are ATMs, free Wi-Fi,
car rental services, and a VIP terminal for business travelers. Baggage handling
and security services are modern, providing a comfortable and efficient travel
experience.
Several major airlines operate at Zvartnots, including
Armenia Airways,
Ryanair,
Wizz Air, and Aeroflot.
The airport offers flights to destinations across Europe, Russia, the Middle
East, and beyond. Regular connections to Moscow, Paris, Dubai, and Athens make
it a key hub for both Armenian nationals and international visitors.
For public transportation, Zvartnots is well-connected. Taxis and private
