If you have lost an item during your journey with Vietnam Airlines, you
can follow these steps to report and recover it:
At the Airport
Immediate Reporting
If you realize you've lost an item at the airport or onboard shortly after
disembarking:
Lost Baggage: Visit the Lost and Found counter at the airport where you arrived
to file a Property Irregularity Report (PIR).
Personal Items: Contact the Lost and Found department of Vietnam Airlines at the
respective airport for assistance.

Procedure
File a PIR: Provide detailed information about the lost item, including a
description, time, and place it was lost.
Tracking: Vietnam Airlines will search for the item and notify you upon recovery
to arrange delivery.
Contacting the Airline
If the item was lost onboard the aircraft:
Report Details: Provide your flight number, seat number, and a detailed
description of the lost item.

Online Reporting
Vietnam Airlines offers an online Lost & Found Reporting Form. You can submit
details of your lost item through the form on their official website by
navigating to the Baggage section.
Claiming Lost Items
Recovered items are typically held at the airport's Lost & Found office or
Vietnam Airlines' designated office.
To Retrieve Your Item
Proof of Ownership: Provide a description of the item or any identifying
features.
Identification: Present valid ID to verify your identity.
Contact: Reach out to the respective airport's Lost & Found department using the
contact information above.
Important Notes
Storage Duration: Unclaimed baggage is stored for 90 days. After this period,
Vietnam Airlines may charge storage fees or dispose of the items at their
discretion.
Liability: Vietnam Airlines' liability for lost or damaged baggage is subject to
international conventions and the airline's policies.
It’s recommended to act quickly and contact the airline or airport Lost & Found
as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of recovering your belongings.
