Passengers traveling with Air Tanzania can Check-in conveniently with the check-in options provided as below:
Online Check-in
Availability: Online check-in is available for Air Tanzania passengers 24 hours
before the scheduled departure time.
Website: Passengers can check in online via the official Air Tanzania website at
www.airtanzania.co.tz.
Mobile App: You can also check in using the Air Tanzania mobile app (available
for download on iOS and Android).
Airport Check-in
Counter Check-in: If you prefer to check in at the airport, Air Tanzania
check-in counters open 3 hours before the scheduled departure for international
flights and 2 hours before for domestic flights.
Closing Time: Check-in for both domestic and international flights typically
closes 45 minutes before departure for domestic flights and 1 hour before
departure for international flights.
Required Documents: Make sure to have your passport (for international flights),
ID, and booking reference or e-ticket.
Baggage Drop
After checking in online, proceed to the airport to drop off your checked
baggage at the designated baggage drop counter. Ensure your baggage complies
with the airline's baggage policy.
Self-Service Kiosks
Some airports may offer self-service kiosks for passengers to check in and print
boarding passes. Availability of these kiosks depends on the airport.
