Braathens Regional Airlines Unaccompanied Minors Policy

Braathens Regional Airlines (BRA) offers an unaccompanied minors service for children aged 5 to 11 years.

This service must be booked in advance, ideally when purchasing the ticket, as it cannot be added at the airport on the day of travel. Parents or guardians must provide detailed contact information for both departure and arrival points.

At the airport, parents or guardians must accompany the unaccompanied minor to the check-in counter and complete necessary forms and authorizations, staying at the airport until the flight departs. During the flight, the cabin crew will supervise the unaccompanied minor, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Upon arrival, the designated guardian, who must present valid identification, must be on time to pick up the minor and sign for their release. BRA generally requires unaccompanied minors to travel on direct flights to avoid the risks associated with connecting flights. Any special needs or medical conditions should be communicated to the airline in advance for appropriate arrangements.
