Iberia Express Unaccompanied Minors Policy
Iberia Express offers an Unaccompanied Minors service for children between the ages of 5 and 11 who are traveling alone.

Here are the details of the policy:
Booking: The Unaccompanied Minors service must be requested at the time of
booking. The service is subject to availability and an additional fee will
apply.
Flight restrictions: Unaccompanied minors can only travel on direct flights
operated by Iberia Express. They are not allowed to travel on connecting flights
or flights operated by other airlines.
Check-in: Parents or guardians must accompany the child to the airport and
complete the necessary paperwork at the Iberia Express check-in desk. The child
will receive a special identification bracelet to wear throughout the journey.
Boarding: A member of Iberia Express staff will accompany the child through
security and to the departure gate. They will remain with the child until they
are handed over to the cabin crew.
In-flight: The cabin crew will take care of the child during the flight,
providing assistance as needed. The child will be given a special meal and
entertainment options appropriate for their age.
Arrival: Upon arrival, the child will be escorted through customs and baggage
claim by an Iberia Express staff member. They will then be handed over to the
designated person named by the parent or guardian on the Unaccompanied Minor
paperwork.
It's important to note that the Unaccompanied Minor service is mandatory for
children between the ages of 5 and 11 who are traveling alone on Iberia Express
flights. Children aged 12 to 17 can travel alone without the service, but
parents or guardians can still request it if they wish.
