Iberia baggage allowance policy varies depending on the fare type, route, and
frequent flyer status.
Here is a general overview of Iberia's baggage allowance:
Carry-on Baggage
Passengers can bring one carry-on bag and one personal item such as a purse or
laptop bag on board the aircraft. The maximum dimensions for the carry-on bag
are 56cm x 45cm x 25cm, and the personal item should fit under the seat in front
of you.
Checked Baggage
The allowance for checked baggage depends on the fare type and route. Generally,
for short and medium-haul flights, passengers are allowed to check one bag
weighing up to 23kg (50lbs) in Economy class and two bags weighing up to 23kg
(50lbs) each in Business class. For long-haul flights, the allowance is usually
two bags weighing up to 23kg (50lbs) in Economy class and three bags weighing up
to 23kg (50lbs) each in Business class.
Excess Baggage
If you exceed the baggage allowance, you will have to pay an excess baggage fee
depending on the weight and size of the bag, as well as the route.
It's important to note that baggage allowances may vary based on your travel
route, fare class, frequent flyer status, and other factors, so it's best to
check with Iberia directly at +34 900 111 500 (24/7) or email to info@iberia.es.
