FlySafair Children Flying Alone Policy

Children aged 5 to 11 years old may travel unaccompanied with FlySafair.

Unaccompanied Minors Information

The Unaccompanied Minors service ensures that your child receives the very best care from when you check-in your child, to the final arrival. When your child has to travel alone, booking a flight with FlySafair; is the next best thing to being there yourself. This service costs an additional R750.

Unaccompanied minors must travel on an adult fare. Children over the age of 12 can travel alone, and they fly on an adult fare. If you’d like to use FlySafair unaccompanied minors service for children aged 5 to 11, the fee is R750 for each leg of the journey.
