Philippines AirAsia Check-in Information
Passengers traveling with AirAsia and AirAsia X can Check-in conveniently with the check-in options provided as below:
Web Check-in
Check in online from AirAsia.com, follow the steps to completed your check-in
and to print your boarding pass yourself.
AirAsia Mobile App
Check in using the AirAsia Mobile App to receive a barcode which you can use to
reprint your boarding pass at the airport. You’ll receive an e-boarding pass if
you’re eligible.
Airport Check-in Kiosks
Check-in kiosks are located at most airports in Malaysia, India, Indonesia,
Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore. You can also print your boarding passes
and bag tags at the kiosks when you check-in using the kiosk in airport.
Self Check-in Availability
For most flights, self check-in (Web, App and Kiosk) opens 14 days before
departure and closes 1 hour before departure for AirAsia and 4 hours before
departure for AirAsia X flights.
Even if you have self checked in, AirAsia advise you to leave ample of time at
the airport as there may be long queues at immigration and security checkpoints.
Also, if you have checked baggage, please take note of the baggage drop closing
times.
Opening and closing times are as below:
Domestic Flights
Opens: 2 hours before departure closes 1 hour before departure, 30 minutes
before departure (from Japan) and 45 minutes before departure (from other
airports).
International Flights
Opens 3 hours before departure and Closes 1 hour before departure (all
airports).
If verification of boarding pass is required, please proceed to AirAsia
document check counter. Just head to the boarding gate according to the boarding
time as stated on your boarding pass if you are not required to verify your
travel documents. Keep in mind that that the boarding gate closes 20 minutes
before departure.
Airport Counters Check-in
There will be no check-in fee for all international flights.
Domestic flights: Counter opens 2 hours prior to departure and closes 45 minutes
prior to departure.
International flights: Counter opens 3 hours prior to departure and closes 1
hour prior to departure.
