Passengers travelling with Pakistan International Airlines are welcome to bring:
Carry-On Allowance
Every passengers can take one cabin bag with maximum 7 kg per person on board on
Economy Class, (12 kg (7 kg + 5 kg) for Executive Economy & Business Class).
Maximum size 38L, 22W & 55H total 115 cms, including handles and wheels. Cabin bags should be
placed in the overhead lockers or if small enough under the seat in front of
you.
You can bring an additional under seat bag like a laptop bag or handbag. Bags must be placed under the seat in front of you.
Checked Baggage Allowance
The free baggage allowance will be two pieces of 28 KGs each for business and
two pieces of 23KGS each for economy cabin, overall dimensions not to exceed 62
inches (Length+Width+Breadth).
(Note: This facility is not applicable on other airline sector. On other carrier
free baggage allowance is two pieces of 23 KGs each or maximum allowed by that
specific carriers for interline traffic).
To avoid extra charges for excess baggage, please make sure to fit your allowed
weight into your allowed number of pieces. Any extra weight or number of pieces
will be subject to additional fees, provided there is space in the hold for your
excess baggage.
Extra Baggage
Excess baggage can be purchased in advance from the time of ticketing till 4
hours before your flight’s departure. Within 4 hours of your flight’s departure,
standard excess baggage rates will apply.
Excess baggage can be purchased in advance online, from PIA booking offices, and
from sales/travel agents worldwide. This facility is available on selected
International and Domestic routes.
