Passengers travelling with Myanmar Airways are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

• Maximum weight: 7 kg (≈15 lbs)

• Maximum size: ~58 × 34 × 23 cm (23 × 13 × 9 inches)

Checked Baggage Allowance

International Flights

MAI uses a weight‑based system for most international routes:

Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, and some other sectors may allow up to 3 pieces within the same weight limits.

Weight limits per bag and dimension limits may apply (e.g., max 23 kg/54 in per checked bag).

Extra Baggage

• Excess baggage fees apply.
