Air Montenegro Lost & Found

Passengers who discover that personal belongings have been misplaced during travel with Air Montenegro should report the matter as soon as possible.

The procedure differs depending on whether the item was left on the aircraft, within the airport terminal, or involves checked baggage. Prompt reporting improves the possibility of locating and returning the missing property.

Items Left on Board

Articles found inside the aircraft cabin after arrival are collected by the cabin crew during the post-flight inspection and handed to the airline's ground handling representative at the arrival airport. Recovered belongings are recorded before being transferred to the appropriate storage facility.

Passengers who believe an item was left on board should contact Air Montenegro or its appointed ground handling company at the arrival airport with their travel details, seat number, and a detailed description of the missing property.

Items Lost Inside the Airport

Personal belongings misplaced inside terminal buildings, including check-in halls, security screening areas, departure lounges, restaurants, or boarding gates, are managed by the airport's own Lost and Found office rather than the airline.

Passengers should contact the airport authority directly if the exact location of the missing item is within the terminal.

Missing or Delayed Checked Baggage

Passengers who cannot locate their checked baggage after arrival must report the issue before leaving the baggage reclaim area.

A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is prepared by the baggage service office and contains baggage tag information, passenger contact details, and a description of the missing luggage. This report enables baggage tracing through the international baggage tracking system used by participating airlines and handling companies.

If baggage is delayed, Air Montenegro continues tracing efforts until the luggage is located or the search is completed under applicable international baggage regulations.

Damaged Baggage

Damage to checked baggage should be reported immediately after arrival while still inside the baggage reclaim area. Airport staff inspect the baggage and record the damage before further processing.

Claims submitted after leaving the airport may require additional supporting documentation.

Collection of Recovered Property

Passengers collecting recovered belongings must present valid identification together with supporting information confirming ownership. Collection procedures are determined by the airport or ground handling company holding the property.

Where available, delivery arrangements may be offered at the passenger's expense if personal collection is not practical.
