Kenya Airways provides a Lost & Found service to assist passengers in locating
and recovering misplaced baggage or personal belongings.
If you have lost an item during your journey, follow these steps:
Reporting Lost Baggage or Items
At the Airport
If you realize your baggage is missing upon arrival, visit the Kenya Airways
Baggage Services Desk before leaving the baggage claim area.
Airport staff will assist in locating your baggage using the WorldTracer system,
a global tracking system for lost luggage.
Online Report
If you have already left the airport, you can report your lost baggage online
through Kenya Airways’ official website or contact the airline’s customer
service.
Provide details such as your flight number, baggage tag number, and a
description of the lost item.
Tracking Your Baggage
Once your report is filed, you will receive a reference number to track the
status of your lost baggage.
Updates will be provided via email or SMS regarding its location and delivery.
Delayed or Damaged Baggage
If your checked baggage is delayed, Kenya Airways will make efforts to locate
and deliver it to your registered address.
For damaged baggage, you should report it at the airport baggage desk
immediately upon arrival.
It’s recommended to act quickly and contact the airline or airport Lost & Found
as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of recovering your belongings.
