Ryanair Lost & Found

If you've misplaced an item during your journey with Ryanair, it's important to act quickly to maximize the chances of retrieving your belongings.

Items Lost Onboard or at the Airport

Ryanair's procedure for lost items is that any belongings left onboard are handed over to the Lost Property Office at the arrival airport. If you think you’ve lost something on the aircraft or in the airport, follow these steps:

Contact the Arrival Airport's Lost Property Office: Reach out to the Lost Property Office at the destination airport. They are responsible for managing items found on the aircraft and in the airport.

Provide Detailed Information: When reporting a lost item, provide a detailed description, including its brand, color, and any distinguishing features. Also, share your flight details such as flight number, date, and seat number to help locate the item.

Checked Baggage Issues

For issues related to lost, delayed, or damaged checked baggage:

Report Immediately: As soon as you realize the issue, report it to the Lost Property Desk at the arrival airport.

Obtain a Property Irregularity Report (PIR): After filing a report, you'll receive a PIR with a unique 10-character reference code (e.g., STNFR12345), which will be necessary for tracking and further communication about your baggage.

Submit a Claim: With the PIR reference, you can submit a claim to Ryanair. Ensure this is done within the following timeframes:

Damaged Baggage: Claim within 7 days of reporting.

Misplaced Baggage: Claim within 21 days of reporting.

Important Considerations

Passenger Responsibility: Ryanair emphasizes that passengers are responsible for their personal items and hand baggage. Always check your surroundings before leaving the aircraft to ensure you have all your belongings.

Liability Limitations: While Ryanair strives to help recover lost items, they do not accept liability for items left onboard or at the airport.

It’s recommended to act quickly and contact the airline or airport Lost & Found as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of recovering your belongings.
