Garuda Indonesia provides a Lost & Found service to assist passengers in
recovering lost items during their journey.
If you misplace your belongings on a Garuda Indonesia flight, in the cabin, at check-in, or at the baggage claim
area, you can report it through the airline’s official Lost & Found department.
Reporting Lost Items
Passengers who have lost an item should report it as soon as possible by:
- Contacting the Lost & Found Office at the airport where the item was lost.
- Visiting the Baggage Service Counter immediately after arrival.
- Filling out a Lost Item Report through Garuda Indonesia’s official website or
customer service hotline.
When reporting, provide the following details:
- Passenger name and contact information
- Flight number and date of travel
- Detailed description of the lost item (color, brand, unique features)
- Seat number or location where the item was last seen
Lost Baggage Handling
If checked baggage is missing, Garuda Indonesia will trace it using the
WorldTracer system and keep passengers updated.
Compensation is available if baggage is permanently lost, subject to airline
policies.

Once a lost item is located, passengers must present identification and a claim
reference number at the respective Lost & Found office.
