SpiceJet Baggage Allowance
The baggage allowance that is applicable for carriage on all SpiceJet operated flights is as given below for both Domestic and International travel.

Domestic Flights
SpiceJet allows free checked baggage allowance of 15 kgs per passenger for all
domestic bookings. Business Class passengers are permitted 30 kgs of checked-In
baggage per passenger on a domestic flight and 35 kgs per passenger on an
international flight.
Economy Class passengers are permitted Cabin baggage of maximum 7 kg (which
would include Laptop and duty free shopping bags) having maximum overall
dimensions of: 115 cms. (L+W+H) on Boeing flights and 108 cms. (L+W+H) on
Bombardier flights, is allowed to be carried per passenger, free of cost. Hand
baggage should not exceed 55cm + 35cm + 25cm (L+B+W = total 115 cm) on Boeing
flights and 50cm+35cm+23cm (Total 108cm) on Bombardier flights. In addition, the
weight may not exceed 7 kg.
Passengers with infants are allowed to carry an additional piece of hand baggage
of maximum 7 kg., not exceeding the size dimensions, as mentioned hereinbefore.
Business Class Passengers can carry up to 10 kgs of cabin baggage (excl. a
laptop bag).
SpiceJet does not accept responsibility for unsuitably packed, perishable,
damaged or fragile baggage or for minor damage to the exterior of baggage (e.g.
scratches, stains, soling, dents) resulting from normal wear and tear or for
water damage to non-waterproof baggage.
International Flights
The free checked baggage allowance on SpiceJet international flights is as
follows:

The dimensions of the checked baggage should not exceed 158 cm (62 inches) in
overall dimensions (L+W+H). SpiceJet does not have a limit on the number of
bags; however each bag must not exceed 32 kgs as per airport baggage
restriction.

no cabin baggage is allowed on flights originating from Jammu, Srinagar & Leh
airports.
Excess Baggage Fees
Excess baggage will be charged at the rate of INR 400/700 per Kg for
Economy/Business Class respectively (effective from 3 May 2019)
Each slab for Prepaid Excess Baggage can be booked only once i.e. Per PNR / Per
Passenger / Per Sector.
For Hand Baggage Only Fare no free check-in baggage allowance shall be
permissible. Passengers who purchase this fare but have check-in baggage will be
charged Fare Type Change Fee of Rs. 400.
