IndiGo Baggage Allowance

The baggage allowance that is applicable for carriage on all IndiGo operated flights is as given below for both Domestic and International travel.

In addition to the one piece of Hand Baggage permitted to be carried in accordance with the above, IndiGo will permit a Customer to carry one additional personal article such as ladies’ purse or a small bag containing laptop not weighing more than 3 kgs.

Baggage allowance for International Connecting Flights

• IndiGo Domestic Sector connecting to IndiGo international sector or vice versa: IndiGo's Free Baggage Allowance for International sector will be applicable.

• IndiGo Domestic Sector connecting to another airline to/from an international destination: 15 Kg per passenger per flight.

Excess Baggage Fees

Customers carrying more than the allowed baggage limit will be charged the following excess baggage fees at the time of check-in:

Domestic Flights	International Flights
INR 400 per additional kg	INR 525 per additional kg (or as per base currency of reservation)

Prepaid Excess Baggage for International Connecting Flights

IndiGo offers great prices on purchasing prepaid excess baggage when you are travelling on your domestic IndiGo flight and connecting to/from another international airline. This allowance is over and above your eligible baggage allowance. Please contact IndiGo Customer Support for the rates.
