If you have lost an item while traveling with Air India Express, you can report
and retrieve it through their Lost & Found service.
The process depends on where the item was lost—either on board the aircraft, at
the airport, or in transit.
Reporting Lost Items
At the Airport
If you lost an item at the airport (before check-in, at security, or baggage
claim), contact the airport’s Lost & Found department directly. Each airport
manages its own lost property.
Onboard the Aircraft
If you left an item on an Air India Express flight, report it as soon as
possible to the airline’s baggage services office at your arrival airport.
You can also contact Air India Express customer support or visit their official
website to report the lost item.
Lost Baggage
If your checked baggage is missing upon arrival, file a Property Irregularity
Report (PIR) at the airport baggage claim counter.
Provide your baggage tag number and flight details.
Air India Express will attempt to trace and recover your baggage.
It’s recommended to act quickly and contact the airline or airport Lost & Found
as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of recovering your belongings.
