HK Express Check-in Information
Passengers traveling with HK Express can Check-in conveniently with the check-in options provided as below:
Online Check-in
Online Check-in is available for flights departing Hong Kong SAR (except to
Saipan), Japan, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan (China), Vietnam and Cambodia, between
75 minutes and 48 hours prior to departure. Bookings with infants and Special
Assistant Customers must visit the check-in counter to obtain a printed boarding
pass before proceeding to immigration after completing the Online Check-in.
Checking-in with HK Express mobile app allows you to save your boarding pass
directly to your device or passbook. You can easily access your mobile boarding
pass anytime, anywhere.
In-Town Check-in
If you are travelling to Hong Kong International Airport
via the Airport Express train, you may choose to check-in at either Hong Kong or
Kowloon station. Simply check-in and collect your boarding pass as early as one
day in advance or as late as 90 minutes before departure. In-Town Check-in
service is not applicable to passengers with baggage where the total size
exceeds 145cm (length) x 100cm (width) x 85cm (height) and weight exceeding
70kg, please check-in at HK Express airport counters instead.
Please note that In-Town check-in operating hours is 05:30-00:30, Monday through
Sunday.
Airport Counter Check-in
The Check in counters for HK Express in Hong Kong International Airport
are located at Row H of Terminal 1. The check-in counters open 3 hours prior to
and close 1 hour before scheduled time of departure, and boarding gates will
close 20 mins before departure.
For check-in counter opening times at other airports, most of it are open 2 or 3
hours prior to and close 1 hour before scheduled time of departure.
You're advised to arrive at the airport at least 1.5 hours before the flight
departure.
Boarding Gate
Please arrive at the boarding gate at least 40 minutes prior to departure time.
Boarding gate closes 20 minutes before scheduled departure time.
These policies may differ, however, so you should check with HK Express for its timings, rules and procedure that may apply during
check-in.
