Greater Bay Airlines offers an Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service for eligible children travelling without a parent or legal guardian.

Children accepted under the programme are supervised by airline staff throughout the journey from check-in until arrival, where they are released only to the authorised receiving adult named during booking.

Eligibility

The service is available for children within the airline's published age requirements.

Reservations for unaccompanied minors must be arranged before departure and remain subject to seat availability and operational acceptance.

Booking Requirements

Parents or guardians must provide:

• Child's identification details
• Flight itinerary
• Contact information for both the sending and receiving adults
• Emergency contact numbers

Required forms must be completed before check-in.

Airport Procedures

The accompanying adult must remain at the departure airport until the aircraft has departed.

The receiving adult must present valid identification before the child is released upon arrival.

Boarding Priority

Unaccompanied minors receive priority boarding to allow cabin crew sufficient time to introduce the child to the onboard environment before general boarding begins.

During the Flight

Cabin crew monitor the child's wellbeing throughout the flight, provide assistance during meal services and maintain communication when necessary.

Flight Restrictions

The Unaccompanied Minor service is available only on eligible Greater Bay Airlines operated flights. Certain itineraries involving lengthy connections or operational limitations may not qualify.

Parents and guardians should complete bookings well before departure to ensure all documentation, approvals and special handling arrangements are finalised before the travel date.
