Greater Bay Airlines » Baggage Allowance
Passengers travelling with Greater Bay Airlines are permitted to carry the
following baggage subject to the fare purchased and cabin class.
Carry-on Baggage
Each Economy Class passenger may bring one cabin bag weighing up to 7 kg. Cabin
baggage dimensions must not exceed 56 cm × 36 cm × 23 cm, including wheels and
handles.
Passengers travelling in Business Class may carry two cabin bags, with the
combined weight not exceeding 15 kg.
One additional personal item such as a handbag, laptop bag, camera bag or small
backpack is also permitted provided it fits beneath the seat in front.
Cabin baggage must comply with aviation security regulations before boarding.
Oversized or overweight carry-on items may be transferred to the aircraft hold
and checked as registered baggage.
Checked Baggage Allowance
Checked baggage entitlement depends on the purchased fare and travel class.
Economy Saver: No complimentary checked baggage
Economy Value: 20 kg
Economy Flex: 30 kg
Business Class: 40 kg
Each checked bag must satisfy the airline's maximum size requirements.
Individual baggage exceeding 32 kg cannot be accepted without repacking.
Passengers should verify the baggage allowance shown on the electronic ticket
before arriving at the airport.
Additional Baggage
Passengers requiring additional baggage may purchase prepaid baggage allowance
before departure through Greater Bay Airlines' website, customer service centre
or ticket offices.
Advance purchase provides lower charges than airport excess baggage rates.
Oversized baggage, sporting equipment, musical instruments and other special
baggage may require prior notification. Acceptance remains subject to aircraft
loading capacity and operational requirements.
Dangerous goods, prohibited articles and restricted items are regulated under
international aviation safety standards and cannot be accepted as checked or
cabin baggage unless specifically permitted.
