Aegean Airlines provides cancellation and refund options based on the fare conditions attached to each ticket. The applicable rules are displayed during the booking process and on the passenger's electronic ticket.

Refund eligibility depends on the fare family purchased, the reason for cancellation and whether any part of the ticket has already been used.

Cancellation Policy

Voluntary Cancellation

Passengers may cancel eligible bookings through the Aegean Airlines website, mobile application, customer service centre or an authorised ticket office. Bookings made through travel agencies should be cancelled through the original issuing agent.

Refundable Tickets

Fare categories that permit refunds may be cancelled before departure. Any applicable cancellation fee or fare difference is deducted before the remaining balance is returned to the original form of payment.

Non-Refundable Tickets

Certain promotional and discounted fares do not qualify for ticket refunds after voluntary cancellation. Unused airport taxes and government charges may be refunded where permitted under local regulations.

Flight Disruptions

Passengers affected by flight cancellations, significant schedule changes or other disruptions initiated by Aegean Airlines may be offered rebooking, travel credit or a refund in accordance with the applicable passenger rights and the airline's conditions of carriage.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method used for the booking. Processing times vary according to the payment provider, card issuer or financial institution.

Optional Services

Refunds for optional services, including seat selection, additional baggage and other ancillary purchases, are subject to the individual terms and conditions of each service. Services already used are not refundable.
