Air Guyane Express Unaccompanied Minors Policy
Young children traveling without a parent or legal guardian are considered to be Unaccompanied Minors. If you are allowing your child to fly alone as an unaccompanied minor, be sure to take every necessary precaution to ensure his or her safety.
Eligibility: Air Guyane Express allows children aged 5 to 12 years to travel
as unaccompanied minors (UMs). Children under 5 years old are not permitted to
travel alone and must be accompanied by an adult.
Booking: The unaccompanied minor service must be requested at the time of
booking. It is recommended to contact the airline directly to ensure all
necessary arrangements are made.
Required Documentation: Parents or guardians must provide identification and
contact information for the person who will be meeting the child at the
destination. They must also fill out a form providing details about the
unaccompanied minor.
Check-in: Unaccompanied minors must be checked in at the airport. Parents or
guardians should arrive early to complete all required paperwork and ensure the
child is properly prepared for the flight. It is advisable to arrive at least 90
minutes before departure.
During the Flight: Air Guyane Express staff will assist and supervise the
unaccompanied minor throughout the journey, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Arrival: The designated person meeting the child at the destination must present
valid identification and sign for the release of the child.
These policies may differ, however, so you should check with Air Guyane Express for a description of its rules and services and any additional
charges that may apply.
