Passengers travelling with Fiji Airways are entitled to baggage allowances based on cabin class, route, and fare purchased.

Baggage Allowance

Carry-on Baggage

Economy Class passengers may carry one cabin bag weighing up to 7 kg. The cabin bag must fit within the airline's published size restrictions and be capable of fitting in the overhead compartment or beneath the seat ahead.

Business Class passengers may bring two cabin bags with a combined maximum weight of 14 kg, subject to individual size requirements.

One personal article, including a handbag, small backpack, laptop bag, camera bag, or duty-free shopping bag, is permitted in addition to the cabin baggage allowance where applicable.

Liquids, gels, aerosols, lithium batteries, and prohibited articles remain subject to aviation security regulations. Oversized or overweight cabin baggage may be transferred to the aircraft hold before departure.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Most international Fiji Airways fares include checked baggage.

• Economy Lite: Checked baggage may not be included on selected routes and fares.
• Economy Value: 1 piece up to 30 kg.
• Economy Comfort: 1 piece up to 30 kg.
• Business Class: 2 pieces with a combined allowance of up to 60 kg or applicable piece allowance depending on route.

Routes operating under the piece concept require each bag to remain within the airline's published maximum dimensions and weight limits.

Extra Baggage

Passengers may purchase additional baggage before departure through the airline's website, contact centre, or airport ticket office.

Advance purchase rates are lower than excess baggage charges collected at the airport.

Oversized sporting equipment, bicycles, surfboards, diving gear, musical instruments, and mobility equipment are accepted according to Fiji Airways' special baggage policy. Certain oversized items require advance notification before travel.

Individual checked baggage exceeding the maximum permitted weight must be repacked before acceptance.
