Central Mountain Air Baggage Allowance
Passengers traveling with Central Mountain Air are welcome to bring:

Carry-On / Skycheck Baggage Allowance
Oversized carry-on bags are not permitted on our aircraft, and may cause flight
delays for all passengers. Please ensure your carry-on bags are within the
maximum allowed size as indicated below; they are required to fit in the sizing
device at check-in and boarding gates.
You may carry onboard items which fall within the 2 piece carry-on / skycheck
allowance: one (1) carry-on bag or suitcase (wheels and handles included in the
size) and one (1) personal article like a briefcase, laptop computer, diaper
bag, camera case, cartons or other similar item.
Checked Baggage
A Checked Bag is defined as a single item with a maximum weight of 23kg (50lb.),
and with a maximum linear dimension of 158 cm (62in.) Linear dimensions are
calculated by adding together the bag’s greatest outside height, width and
length – wheels and handles included.
It is recommended that documents and medication be packed in your carry-on
baggage. All prescription medications must be properly labelled with the names
of the patient, the medication and the issuing medical office or pharmacy.
For safety reasons, dangerous goods must not be packed in checked or carry-on
baggage, except as specifically permitted. Dangerous goods include, but are not
limited to: compressed gases, corrosives, explosives, flammable liquids and
solids, radioactive materials, oxidizing materials, poisons, infectious
substances, and briefcases with installed alarm devices. For security reasons,
other restrictions may apply.
Any baggage, the weight of which exceeds the applicable maximum allowance, will
be accepted for transportation only upon payment of the applicable excess
baggage fees.
Overweight Baggage Exceeding 32kg (70lb)
For aircraft loading purposes, Central Mountain Air will not accept single
pieces of baggage weighing more than 32kg (70lbs). For bags exceeding 70lb,
weight must be distributed between other pieces of baggage before checking in
for your flight.
Excess baggage will only travel subject to space availability.
Please arrive at the airport at least 120 minutes before departure if checking
additional bags, or overweight, or oversized pieces.
NOTE: Ski/snowboard boots (in a proper boot bag) and skis/snowboards, count as
one item together (each still tagged properly). Items such as mobile assist
devices, car seats and strollers are not considered excess baggage items.
Fractions of a pound of excess weight will be increased to a full pound.
Charges will be applicable from the point at which such baggage is accepted for
transportation to the point to which such baggage is checked.
Baggage may be tagged to Central Mountain Air destinations only. For other
destinations passengers may be required to collect their baggage and re-check it
for the connecting flight.
Passengers should inspect their baggage at pickup. Should a passenger discover
damage to their baggage they should notify Central Mountain Air personnel within
one (1) hour of its arrival.
Despite care in the handling of your baggage, Central Mountain Air trust you
will understand that they are not responsible for the following: nicks,
scratches, missing pullstraps, zipper damage, scuff marks, damage to wheels,
soiling, manufacturing defects and damage resulting from over-packing or
spillage of packed items.
