Calm Air Baggage Allowance
Passengers traveling with Calm Air are welcome to bring:
Carry-on Baggage
For the comfort and safety of all passengers, Calm Air enforce the number, size
and weight of all carry-on baggage on its flights. Oversized and excessive
amounts of carry-on baggage can cause flight delays, please confirm your
allowance as stated below before started your journey.
• Each fare-paying passenger is permitted two (2) pieces of carry-on baggage
• Combined weight of these pieces is not to exceed 20 lbs (9 kg)
• Combined dimensions (LxWxH) is not to exceed 10 in x 16 in x 12 in (25 cm x 40
cm x 30 cm)
• All pieces must be properly stowed under the aircraft seat or in the overhead
storage bin
• Sizing devices are available at the airports for you to ensure that your
carry-on baggage is of allowable size
Checked Baggage
Passengers traveling on flight series 100 to 199 enjoy a generous free baggage
allowance. This allowance is two (2) pieces of baggage per fare-paying passenger
with combined weight of no more than 70 lbs (32 kg), which includes valet items.
Individual pieces must weigh no more than 50 lbs (23 kg) each and measure (L+W+H)
less than 62 inches (158 cm).
Passengers traveling on flight series 200 to 399 enjoy Calm Air’s maximum free
baggage allowance. This allowance is three (3) pieces of baggage per fare-paying
passenger with combined weight of no more than 120 lbs (54 kg). Individual
pieces must weigh no more than 50 lbs (23 kg) each and measure (L+W+H) less than
62 inches (158 cm).
Excess Baggage
When traveling on Calm Air, the size, weight and number of bags you may check is
limited to the free baggage allowance detailed above. Baggage exceeding the
maximum free allowance (too large, too heavy, or too many pieces), will be
assessed an excess baggage fee, may be required to be shipped as cargo, and will
travel subject to availability of space and weight.
The maximum combined weight of all pieces accepted as checked baggage on flight
series 100 to 199 is 100 lbs (45 kg) per fare-paying passenger (70 lbs free, 30
lbs excess). The maximum combined weight of all pieces accepted as checked
baggage on flight series 200 to 399 is 140 lbs (64 kg) per fare-paying passenger
(120 lbs free, 20 lbs excess). Baggage over this limit must be shipped as cargo.
Any individual piece exceeding 70 lbs (32 kg) or 115 inches (292 cm) in total
linear dimensions or 80 inches (203 cm) in length will not be accepted as
checked baggage and must be shipped as cargo.
