Boliviana de Aviación Unaccompanied Minors Policy

Boliviana de Aviación (BoA) offers an unaccompanied minor service for children aged 5 to 11 years old.

Children under the age of 5 must be accompanied by an adult. The unaccompanied minor service should be requested at the time of booking, as it is subject to availability. A valid passport or national ID is required for the minor, depending on whether the flight is domestic or international.

Additionally, a completed unaccompanied minor form must be submitted at check-in, providing details about the child’s journey and contact information for the responsible adult at both the departure and arrival airports.

BoA charges an additional fee for this service, which varies depending on the route, so it’s important to inquire about specific fees when booking. At the airport, parents or guardians must arrive early to complete the check-in process and submit the necessary documentation. BoA staff will accompany the minor through security, immigration (if applicable), and the boarding process, ensuring the child’s safety throughout.

The child will be handed over to a designated adult at the destination airport. For return flights, an adult must be present to meet the minor upon arrival. This service is designed to provide a secure and safe travel experience for children traveling alone.
