Regional Express Airlines Baggage Allowance

Passengers traveling with Regional Express Airlines are welcome to bring:

Carry-on Baggage

Each passenger occupying a paid seat is entitled to cabin baggage. Baggage, including overnight bags, briefcases, personal computers, ladies' vanity cases, large size cameras etc. taken into the cabin as cabin baggage is subject to the conditions set out in the Baggage Allowance Table below. Items which exceed these allowances are not permitted into the aircraft cabin.

Permitted linear dimension limits for the carry-on baggage is maximum 115 cm (h + w + d = 115 cm).

Checked Baggage Allowance

Permitted linear dimension limits for every checked baggage is maximum 140 cm (h + w + d = 140 cm). Checked baggage allowance for passengers travelling on Regional Express Airlines are set on Baggage Allowance Table below:

Connecting Flights

Passengers connecting between Rex services are entitled to the higher of the two checked baggage allowances, providing all flights are in the same reservation (one booking reference).

Excess Baggage

An excess baggage fee of $5.50 (incl. GST) will be levied for each additional kilogram in excess of the passenger's checked baggage allowance.

Passengers may purchase Additional Baggage during booking or via the Customer Contact Centre on 13 17 13.

The maximum weight per piece of baggage that can be accepted at the airport is 32 kg. Baggage in excess of 32 kg (per item) will be consigned as air freight.

Please note: excess baggage will travel subject to capacity.

Oversize Baggage

A charge of $16.50 (incl. GST) per piece will be charged if size exceeds the permitted linear dimension limits (h + w + d = 140cm).

The maximum weight per piece of baggage that can be accepted at the airport is 32 kg. Baggage in excess of 32 kg (per item) will be consigned as air freight.

Please note: oversize items which exceed baggage allowance will also be subject to excess baggage charges and travel subject to capacity.
