Policy
Young children traveling without a parent or legal guardian are considered to be
Unaccompanied Minors. Like most airlines, Qantas Airways provide a service to
assist these children from their point of departure to their final destination.

The service is mandatory for children ages 6-11 traveling without an adult
who is at least 15 years old on international flights. It is also mandatory for
children ages 5-11 on domestic flights. Children ages 12-15 years are not
required to travel as unaccompanied minors, but the service is optional.
Children under 5 years of age for domestic flights and 6 years of age for
international flights are not allowed to travel unless accompanied by an adult
who is at least 15 years old. All airlines reserve the right to request
documented proof of age of any child.
Contact Qantas Airways for information regarding fees.
